The image, a bed that is so artfully put together.

The thought makes our hearts sing and our minds jump for joy at the idea of what it would be like to take a nap in that voluminous bed. Ahhhh…. Let’s just throw in a couple of friendly reminders of what these beds look like – shall we?

Exhibit A: Studio McGee’s beds – so lovely.

Exhibit B: Emily Henderson’s beds – she does it right.

“Why doesn’t my bed look as comfy as this?”

Insert instant relief, because it’s Protip time!

Making a bed feel cozy is easy as 1, 2, 3, 4 . . .

  1. The Bed Linens

    • We suggest neutral or patterned sheets, a duvet comforter, a quilt or blanket.

  2. Euro Shams

    • We suggest using euro shams (26x26 pillows) instead of the standard shams, 2 shams for a full/queen size or 3 for a king.

  3. Throw Pillows

    • We suggest enough throw pillows to add some color! 1 throw pillow for a full/queen size or 3 for a king.

  4. The Bed Size

    • The biggest factor? Make sure you size up in your comforters, quilts, and blankets. The voluminous look comes from the additional fabric that sizing up provides.
