Kidding, just kidding. We are big fans of the dino movies from the original Jurassic Park to the more infamous Land Before Time - the classic dino thrillers.
With the resurgence of the prior, we thought what a better way to commemorate the release of the latest installment than with a Jurassic Park bedroom.
Dinosaurs have always been a classic installment in the lives of children - not sure why, but they are. We all learn about them when we are babes, and for some reason we at Hello Good Design we have always had a soft spot in our hearts for dinosaurs. This might have something to do with the fact that our lead designer's grandma played all the VHS tapes of the Land Before Time series and the Jurassic Park movies. Regardless, one can see the draw - especially with the Jurassic World.
To make the perfect Jurassic Park bedroom, you must have the essentials which include a map, obvi dinsaurs, cool jams, and a military vibe. To achieve the complete the feel of this base camp inspired domicile we propose an industrial bed with a natural wood side table, linens must be rugged - therefore military wool blankets, Isla Nublar art print, ammo box speaker, and some faux taxidermy in the shape of a t-rex! If this room doesn't give you subtle Jurassic feels in all the right places - then you should probably take some time and watch all the Jurassic Parks, Jurassic World 1, and head to see the latest installment at the movies. Also, a trip down the Land Before Time lane wouldn't hurt either. Happy Designing!
