The Granada is suddenly in need of something. . . A NURSERY!
That’s right, the 1970’s home renovation needs a room for a sweet baby boy coming soon, so of course at Hello Good Design we had to take the opportunity to make super cool room for a little dude.
As mentioned, the Granada house is not too big (about 1500 sf,) so priorities necessitate that this room optimize storage for baby supplies, books, and toys allowing for the baby to grow into the room.
Channeling inspiration from the little boy’s name (which is kept a secret until his arrival) and a vintage twist, the feel for this space is a modern take on cowboys and Indian’s.
Pulling greens, rust, and blue, arrows, feathers, and tribal design this room will be the perfect oasis to foster a space for play and growth.
By adding family pieces like a portrait of the Native American great-great-great-great-grandmother in her traditional garb, as well as images of another grandfather on a buffalo farm, and sweet touches like the father’s wicker rocking chair make this a room a culmination of more than cute baby things.
